More about me

Get to know my personality

What's in a name?

Praharsh means: "one who has transcended normal sorrows and reached the eternal state of bliss."
Or more simply put: "harsh (in Hindi) means happiness; Praharsh means something more than happiness!"
That certainly is my life's goal- To be happy and keep those around me happy.

I do not know whether a person's name correlate to their personality, but in my case, it truly reflects my jolly and friendly nature.

Personal Insight

I was born and raised in Indore, India.
People and food, both have great flavors here. Consequently, I mix well with people and love spicy food.
Being an Indian, flexibility and diversity is embedded deep into my DNA!
I enjoy the beauty of simplicity. Anything that is short, simple and effective, impresses me.
I am convinced with the fact that - "Change is the only thing that is constant" and have a strong belief that the ultimate aim of every human effort is to make the world a better place to live.

"In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

The Backbone

I am very grateful to have been blessed with a wonderful and supportive family. To further add to life, I have a huge (and ongoing) list of lifelong friends from diverse backgrounds.
Although family and friends add colors to the canvas of life, one can not learn to paint without a teacher. I feel rewarded to receive supervision and guidance from great teachers and mentors.
I want to thank my friends, family, teachers and all the people who have played (and will play) a part in my life experience.

"What is most important almost always involves the people around us."
Thomas S. Monson

Abdul Kalam

I am influenced by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the most. The reason he is my idol is his simplicity, humbleness, expertise and the hard work he has put in throughout his life. The passion to share knowledge was Dr. Kalam's hallmark.
Dennis Ritchie, Linus Torvalds and Tim Berners-Lee (to name a few) have inspired the programmer in me.
As an android power user, I admire the works of Koushik Dutta.
My vision for life is very similar to this.
